sd card blank or unsupported! !!

A couple of days ago This message came up on the top of my mobile samsung galaxy s. Have managed to get everything off my card thankfully by plugging it in to the pc. I've turned the mobile off taken card out put back in etc but still nothing. I can't save to it either. I've tried reformatting it but no avail. I've also noticed that tonight a friend who's number is on my mobile I can see her text message but her details aren't in my contacts and I've not deleted her!!

If an SD is still not working even after you've tried to format it, it's probably gone bad. They do wear out periodically. Try replacing it, but make sure you purchase from a reputable source, NOT Ebay, as there's a lot of counterfeits around.
