Help SD Card doesnt appear connecting phone through USB to the computer

Hi everyone,

I think the issue is happening since I upgraded the Android to 6.0, my device is a Motorola Moto E.
I connect the USB cable and tried to set to MTP mode, appeared my device in my computer but only the internal memory. The SD card is formated as internal memory and I can move anything to SD card, using the phone itself, even I have moved apps there without any problem.
I tried, as I saw in a fórum, the following:
1) Shut down the phone
2) Remove the SD card
3) Turn on the phone
4) Connect through USB cable and verified only appear the internal memory
5) Shut down the phone again
6) Insert SD card
7) Turn on the phone
8) Connect through USB cable
9) Change the mode to MTP
Nothing changed, SD card doesn't appear

Any help will be appreciated.
Regards,
Damián
PD: Sorry my english

Hi, I don't care if it appears as a separate device, I need to upload files to the SD card
At the phone, the SD card appears as another drive, but it doesn't appear in a computer as a separated device nor in the same device

So you can't see files or folders on it. Ok, that wasn't completely clear. You are sure that it doesn't appear as a folder within the phone storage?

I don't have this device and do not myself want to use adoptive storage, so I'm afraid I don't have experience of this. Just thinking aloud.
