Help Sd Card Format not loading

I have tried and tried to set up my sd card on my lg tribute. For some reason, every time i try to format it, it goes from 20% to 100% and then it goes to the next screen with a button that says "done" with no other text. I can't figure out why i cant cant format it. Any suggestions?

Have you tried formatting it on a PC? If the PC can't properly read it before formatting, your card is corrupted, and will need to be replaced. If the card can be read, make sure it's formatted using the FAT32 file system.
