SD Card Is Locked.

I'm having a huge problem here. I try to delete photos or even save photos, and it says my SD card is locked. I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried turning the phone completely off and back on. I tried unmounting the SD Card and putting it back in, I tried updating my phone (which it says there are no updates available at this time), I even tried reformatting it on the computer, which it won't let me. I can't transfer any files on the computer or anything. Nothing is working. It won't even let me do a complete reformat on my SD Card. I did a hard reset on my phone, thinking the software was an issue, but still it's locked. I don't understand what to do.

I have a Motorola Devour.

Take the card out, hold it in your hand, then slide the Lock switch on it from ON to OFF.

LOL. You are right, sorry. When I was writing the above, I had the picture of SD card in my head (it has a Lock protection)...

Have you tried to format the card in a card reader?

Please use card-reader to backup your date and then format it with mobole phone.

I have a Devour and am having the exact same problem. Until this happened I had never had the SD card out of the phone.
HELP!
