SD Card is unavailable?

This is my first post and I really appreciate anyone helping me. I have a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0. I just bought the galaxy player a couple weeks ago and only has an 8 gb storage. So i ordered a Samsung 32 gb Micro SD card. At first, the player was reading the card and I never mounted it (I'm stupid). And now, the card is not even working. It refuses to be read, the total memory says unavailable and mounting and formatting it won't work because they're in grey. The card won't even work on my PC either. I'm not getting any pop-up windows recognizing it. I've tried turning off and on my player with or without the SD card. Nothing is working... I really don't want to buy another SD card. This one is brand new. Anyone know why its not working and maybe know how to fix this? I'm starting to think its faulty...

Thanks!

i think it automatically mounts the card when you put it in, but as far as your problem, sorry but i don't know much about sd cards. i am guessing but it sounds like you may have a faulty card. maybe you should exchange it for another. i like san disk cards. nevr have had a problem with one of them in any device.

John,

I am pretty much in the same situation that you are. I have the exact same equipment that you have but I don't even have a clue how I can get my music on the SD card. Could someone give me some very simple instructions as to how I can get my music on my SD card. HELP!!

Thanks so much.
