SD Card issue

I don't know what's going on. I've been using the same SD card on my phone for over a month, but when I put it in today after putting some new music on it, it said card capacity was reached. I don't know if that means theres too much on the card, it's messed up, or what.
Btw my phone is a ZTE Blade, not sure what kind. The SD card is supposed to be 16 GB.

SD cards are notoriously unreliable when they start to fail. Can you still read all the files using a card reader? Are you sure the card is genuine? There are a lot of fake SD cards floating around that mis-report their capacity.

I don't know, it works for file transfers online and it's been doing very well until today.

First thing to do is try this app SD insight. It will tell you if your card is real or fake and then we can move on to troubleshooting from there.
