SD card mounting troubles.

Hi everyone,

I have read all previous posts on this issue, and tried all of your suggestions, but still get the same problem. when I plug the phone to the usb, I get the message "please insert disk into F: drive"...I get this repeatedly no matter what I try and do. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

This may be the same problem I was having...let me know if this helps you at all...

*Something* happened, and the first time I attached my phone to my computer it asked me if I wanted to scan for errors. If I clicked yes, it booted the phone, and asked me to insert a disk. If I declined the scan, the phone would stay attached.

If you have set your phone to mount, it should appear in WinExplorer. Just tell Windows to browse files...

Does this help at all?

when i first connected mine , my pc (vista 64) did not recognize it. i had to install drivers.
2cnd..do not format in pc. operating systems and phones run differently.
3rd look to see if u have a usb icon on your phone screen.
if u do.. click it and mount it. windows should be able to explore now
if not .. u may need drivers.
