Help sd card not being recognized

My huawei y300 is not picking up my SD card. There was a message that said it was unexpectedly removed even though it was stl in there, now it is nt being picked up even though i remove it abd
 
Yes it is fairly new, it hasnt happened before. I have had it for like a month. No I haven't tried it in a pc. It jus came up SD card unexpectedly removed and wouldn't read again. I have a card reader, no PC :(
 
Hmm. It could be a fake card. What make and type is it. The other thing is somehow it got corrupt. A PC may be able to repair the file system or if you really have to will reformat it. I think the first thing I would do is talk nicely to someone with a PC. When connected, right click on whatever drive it appears on, properties, tools error checking and see if it can be repaired. If the PC won't read it it's probably counterfeit.
