Help SD card not recognised after formatting as internal failed

Hello,

I have been meaning to format my SD card as internal ever since Android 6.0 arrived, and finally got around to it today. Only problem is that whilst in the middle of my format my phone rebooted and when it booted up it didn't recognise the SD card as being inserted. I have tried my Windows PC, I have tried tablets, I have tried other phones (even a dreaded BlackBerry), and they have all (par the BB) not recognised that the card is inserted. This is a serious problem. Even though I backed up all the data before I tried the format, and blessed Google Photos kept my photos safe, I still need an SD card for my phone. I can get another card, but I just want to see if it can be saved (it was a 64GB SanDisk and it would be a waste to throw it away if it can be fixed).

Had you used the SanDisk SD before with no problems, before you tried using it as adoptive storage? Like was it a new one, and where did you buy it? Apparently there's a lot of fake SanDisk 64GB cards around at the moment. Suggest you check it with SD Insight.

Can the BB format the card? If the formatting was interrupted then I would expect you to have to reformat before it is usable, so if that is the device that can see it currently that would be the obvious solution to try.
