Help SD card not recognized (after kitkat?)

Hi, I have two issues related to external SD card on my galaxy note 10.1 2014.
1. In the my files native samsung app, navigating to the sd card it says no files which is incorrect.
2. In utorrent it says error invalid download state although the card har 43 gb free space. The second point used to work, actually also after kIt kan upgrade. Any ideas?

Hi,
yes but I tried it again yesterday in my S5 and after i switched back it suddenly worked so was some sort of read/write issue.
