Sd card not showing or playing music files

Hi
I got a hudl2 and android version 4.4 i believe, all my old mp3 music files are showing and playing,but and new ones i transfer fer from my computer are not showing on my sd card or showing for a little bit and then disappear and the new ones will not play either. i unmounted and re mounted sd card and still no luck.
Any tips welcome or recommended apps to fix possible sd card problem

Your SD card may be failing.
Check it out with SD insight from the play store

Try playing an individual file with a File Explorer. It might be called My Files.
