SD card reading full when it isnt!

Advice needed but...

Basically my SD card has just under 4GB space....the only large amount of space taken up is 900MB of music...then there is some random stuff there that i dare not delete but is only taking up a few MB...

HOWEVER, when I try to put more music on, the card tells me its full and only has 18MB of storage left....

Any ideas/help??

does the phone tell you this? Or the computer? You may want to try taking the card out of the phone and into a card reader directly. You may need to re-format the card, or the card may have just failed.

I assume you are talking about a microSD from your phone. access the card through your computer and view hidden files, and see what else is in there. BTW, have you moved any applications to your card? IIRC some apps like Angry birds default to installing there. Something like that could be eating up your space.
