Help SD card repeating message

Hi! I keep getting a message saying "sd card for transferring pictures and media." CONTINUALLY! Why is this occurring and how can I stop it? Thank you.

What does that mean?

Where is this message appearing? Popping up over whatever you are doing, appearing when you try to download or save something, or when running a particular app?

(No, I've never heard of this before, but more context might help narrow it down).

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. I got the feeling that my SD card was going bad since some of the apps I had transferred to it we're showing up as grayed out images on my phone. I purchased a new SD card and transferred the files to it and the problem has been solved. Thanks again.
