Help SD card storage

Bucata206

Newbie
I've been having an issue with downloading apps to my phone or updating current apps. It always says that I have insufficient storage. I go to move my apps to the SD card. It takes forever, but eventually the apps move to the SD card. Does anyone know why the apps always get transferred back to the phone storage instead of staying on the SD card? Very aggravating that I have to constantly move the apps to the SD card. Anyone have any solutions or know why the apps get moved back?

If you have KiKat installed on your S5 (I'm assuming that is the phone you use), all apps will be tranferred back to your phone storage. Someone decided that external storage should only be used for data.

Mostly just data. Pix, tunes, documents, etc. You can clear data on the phone by going to Settings>Applications>Application Manager then click on each application to see how much data is being used. Some apps will show Data and SD Data amounts.
