I loaded music on my SD card but don't know how to access it, they don't show up in the music app.

Best to create a folder called music or whatever on your SD card then sub folders for each album, artist.
Download an App called 'Astro file manager' free from the market then you can access your SD card from your phone as well loads of other things you can do with this App

It really helps to provide details. Where did you stick the music? What format is it?

If it's a supported format it should be found if it's in a folder named Music. The specific location or how you arrange any subfolders shouldn't matter.
