How do you get things from a sd card to get the data on a different device?

Easiest way would be to put the SD card into the other device 
but assuming this isn't an option you could either copy the contents of the SD card to a PC then from the PC to the other device or you could move the contents of the SD card to a cloud storage service and then download the data to the other device (v slow and you would probably want to use WiFi).
