search in contacts with a lot of the same contact

If I search in my contacts app in android 7.0 for a certain word for example a frontname, I get a huge results (more than 50) most of them are reffering to the same contact, even if this contact contains the search name somewhere in the text. I can imagine once bot not twice or even ten times the same contact. I tried everything. Combine double contacts, get ride of the cache. Nothinh helps.
Is ther anyone we can tell me what the solution could be?

Are these Google contacts? If so can you try visiting https://contacts.google.com to see if there are duplicates listed there for this contact?

I did, but there are no duplicates. It is the same contact but shown very often.
