Seconds not moving when dimmed

My LG G watch R seconds do not advance when the watch dims. I need that seconds reading at work and having it go off repeatedly is a pain. Is there an ap for that? I'm not sure if it doesn't advance because the refresh rate. Is there a way to adjust the dimmed refresh rate?

"Dim mode" is ambient mode. And ambient mode is used to reduce the amount of battery use. And while in ambient mode, the screen only updates every minute. So the answer to your question is possibly. There may be a app that does allow such functionality but would come at the cost of battery life.
