hey guys im sorry if i post this on the wrong section but i followed this tutorial: droidviews(dot)com/root-galaxy-s6-and-s6-edge-on-android-6-0-1-marshmallow-update/ to root my s6 edge+ and it went black... after some research i found out the tutorial wasnt for my device(SM-G2928F) so i flashed it with cf-autoroot and then it boot looped for like an hour. I downloaded the original greek firmware from sammobile but it brings me up this error: SECURE CHECK FAIL : (BOOTLOADER).. any help? :(

UPDATE: now when I exit recovery mode it doesnt start and tells me: An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.

I'm getting the same error. Did you resolve your issue?

Galaxy s6 Edge+
Dr Ketan ROM G928
Android 5.1.1
Baseband version G928TUVU2COJ5
Build number Dr.Ketan_L1.G928IDVU1AOH2
Model number SM-G928I
Actual Model number printed on phone SM-G928T

What I've tried:
Odin3 flash of G928IDVU1AOH2_G928INZC1AOH2_G928IDVU1AOH2_HOME.tar.md5
Resulting in Odin3 SecureCheck Fail (Bootloader)
I've tried new cables, reran Odin several times with the same result.

Smart Switch recognizes the phone, but says noupdate available/

Kies does not recognize device.

Any help would be appreciated!

I downloaded a new firmware update that matches the original phone model, before the ROM was placed on the phone. G928TUVU1BOH4_G928TTMB1BOH4_G928TUVU1BOH4_HOME.tar.md5
Results in Odin3 error SW Rev. Check Fail. Device:2 Binary:1

Not sure what else to try?
