How soon to expect Android Security Patch of December 5th, 2017, to be on Note 8. Android 8.1.01 too?

How important is it to have Android 8.1.0 and the lastest security patches as the Pixel 2 has?

Which version of the Note 8 do you have? The international version has Samsungs exynos chipset so shouldn't need that security patch. If you've got the US Snapdragon chipset then it should come soon but it'll depend on how long your service provider takes to push it.

Actually I'll take that back. I think exynos uses arm processes too so maybe it needs the patch as well.
