Hello everyone,
My stock Dialer app won't let me manage my quick message replies (you know, the ones that I can send to someone from whom I've just declined a call). It offers me five preset choices - none of which I particularly like (for example, I'm not a student, so why would I say "In class"?) - plus I can compose one myself, on the fly, and send it off.
(I've attached an image... sorry if it's huge!)
But there doesn't seem to be any way of adding, changing, or deleting any of the entries in this list.
My research has suggested that for Android Lollipop, I should simply do the following:
... and then I should be able to change the four quick responses (edit them, but neither delete entries nor add any new ones).
But unfortunately, after I choose "Settings", there is no "General settings". I have a whole bunch of other options, including "Call barring settings" and "Additional settings" (but neither of them is the right choice) - but no "General settings".
I've an HTC One (M7) running Lollipop 5.0.2 on the Rogers network. Is it possible that Rogers removed this option?
So I'm looking for another solution. Do you know of a really good Dialer replacement app (ideally, a free one) that allows me to add to, change, and delete my quick message choices?
Thank you, in advance, for your help.

My research has suggested that for Android Lollipop, I should simply do the following:
- open up the stock Dialer app
- touch those 3 little menu dots in the top right-hand corner
- then choose "Settings"
- then choose "General settings", and then finally
- choose "Quick responses"
