Selecting jpegs & video files for transfer to pc

I want to transfer pics and videos to a USB device (which I have). It plugs into my phone and also to a pc. I can find all my files on my phone memory and my SD card, but I can't figure out how to select them (singly or a bunch or all), then to copy them to my device. Help, please.

What exactly is the 'USB device'? Do you mean a USB thumb drive connected via OTG, and you want to select and copy pictures to it?

I have a thumb drive device with a USB connector on one end and an Android connector on the other. However, the issue for me is how to do a 'select all' of all the photos in my S7 gallery, and then to copy or move all of them to my special thumb drive. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Use your file manager and copy them over?
There should be an option once you pick one, to choose all?
If not, install a file manager from the play store that will.
