Selecting multiple emails for deletion in stock email program

Love my new SGS2 LTE from Rogers. Can't find something that I figure must be there.

In the stock email application, I looking for a way to select multiple emails and then delete them as a group. I can't find it, have to hold every entry and delete separately.

Anyone enlighten me?

Stock email app or stock gmail app? Those are different apps.

Cant say for certain as you seem to have a carrier modified phone, but arent there checkboxes beside the email headers? You tap on those.
