I have a verizon thunderbolt, K9 was recenlty installed, I get/read incoming emails, compose new emails but where is button/icon to send email?
 
When writing a message there's a paper airplane icon in the upper-right corner, on the same level where it says "Reply" above your email address. Tapping the airplane will send the message.
