Send SMS from PC via HTC Hero?

Hi chaps

Can anyone recommend an app' that will allow me to send SMS from my PC via my HTC Hero?

I would like my phone contacts to be searchable from my browser. I live in the UK so I understand that GoogleTalk is out of bounds for me for the time being.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Well, my carrier here in the USA is T-Mobile. I can sign into my account online and send texts from there. Maybe your carrier has a similar option?

I should have clarified - no internet connection.

Is there a stand-alone app' that that isn't reliant on a connection to the www?
