Send SMS to multiple people - why doesn't it add outgoing msg to their threads?

This drives me batty. I send an SMS text to a few people. Instead of adding my outgoing message to each of their threads like my old Palm phones always did, but instead creates a new thread with only my outgoing message. (Their replies of course go into their normal text thread.)

This is annoying. Can it be fixed? It's happened across many Android phones for me. And various SMS programs too.

Go SMS and Handcent does separate the messages per thread. Disabled by default though, you can activate it in the settings. Can't give you specific instructions since I stopped using Go SMS for over a month now. I just remember I set it up that way before.
