Sending a Gif File as MMS

I have a G2 i have tried send gif files to my buddies and they send as a jpeg i was wondering has anyone had a issue with this . I know you must download like Animated Gif Player so they play but inside that it doesn't give you a option to send . Is there a App you guys know of Thanks

Have you tried sending it through email instead of mms?
