sending email attachment doc with andro or astrozip

Why (on since and tbolt) when I try to attach doc to gmail using astro or androzip, does the file not attach properly ....only attaches file name 0kb(blank)

If I use docstogo it works

Did you start out in the file program? I go to astro, select file, select sharing method, and it takes me over to my email with the file already attached.
