Sensation vs Raider

Hi,

I currently have a HTC sensation which I love but I have some discoloration in the screen so it's gonna get replace trought FutureShop warranty.

Since the sensation isn't available anymore they offered me the raider.

how is the the raider comparable to the sensation ? is it similar better or worse?

Should I push to get a galaxy S2 instead or?

I'm afraid that u have to take the fact that with a Raider u cannot update to win8. And comparatively, android is a more mature phone system than w7.

Comparing S2, Sensation, and Raider. I recommend S2 strongly!

I understand that S2 is a better choice but they told me I would be suppose to take an other HTC and the raider is the only one they carry right now.

more wondering if the raider is significantly less powerful then my sensation I could probably just say no I don't want a downgraded phone therefor you should give me at least the S2.

We don't get the Raider here, but from a quick Web search specs don't obviously seem inferior to the Sensation - looks like a slightly updated version with LTE to me.

The previous poster talking about Windows phone sounds like they are thinking of a different device.

I'm suppose to meet the manager today to see if it's actually gonna be covered or not.
I might try to pay a bit of money and get the S3.

My side of the Atlantic there are no LTE networks, so we don't get it in any of its names :)

The S3 does seem to be the device of the moment.

I dont have any LTE network either around here either...

yeah the S3 seem like the best phone out there right now.. but I dont know if they would let me have that as a replacement or not...

I've just worked out why aarif87226 was talking about Windows Phone - he was probably thinking of the similarly-named HTC Radar, which is a lower-specced Windows Phone 7 device.

Doesn't help your decision at all, but clearly up a little loose end for me ;)

Just got back from the store! I had 3 option. galaxy S2 for free, Raider for 50$ or Galaxy S3 for 100$.

ended up with the S3! they kept the accessory cause I didn't brought mine in so now im stuck at work with a brand new cell phone but no batteries to try it till I get home tonight!

Cuz I was studying Windows phones these days for a purchase. Really confused. But still I want to blame HTC for their naming strategy!!! Not clear at all!!!
