Sensible soccer like game

I've been working in a soccer game for some time, still a lot of work to do but you can see an early preview here:

I'm working now on how to control the game, you can see in it in the video. I think this is the most important part of the game.

Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't think we are going to do that because has a license cost that we can't afford.

You would have to check it out but if you allow user generated rosters to be uploaded and provide a format I am sure someone would make some rosters. Since it would be user generated and not distributed by you it might be ok. Could be a lot of work though.

Looks promising. Controls are the hardest bit to get right. Remember not everyone has a trackball or equivalent so have these onscreen too - and implement proper multitouch so moving doesn't interfere with passing.

Would agree with the above - I would willingly pay for a game like that IF it has current teams on.

It is still a very buggy beta version. We expect to get some feedback from early users.
