Sensorly and 4G LTE service

I just switched to Verizon a little over a month ago, with the Galaxy S5, mainly because everybody I asked said they had service just about everywhere. I was with Sprint for 14 yrs, I will say the service especially inside buildings is night and day. Absolutely love the phone, I can't figure out how my 4G LTE is spotty inside my apt, when the Sensorly app tells me that there is strong signal on the main street 15ft from my living room window? Wondering if XLTE will make a difference if they roll it out in my area?

One possibility is that the Verizon cell tower near your home only broadcasts 1700/2100 MHz LTE and not 700 Mhz LTE (which has better building penetration).

Hmmm, that might explain a few things. I work at a large Verizon 3rd party retailer and our electronics counter is way in the back the store and every time we activate a VZW phone, 4G LTE has full bars with fast internet connection. Must be strong 700 Mhz towers near the store.
