That's pretty decent. About 7 months ago I went from Tacoma Washington all the way across the top of the US to just outside of Chicago. I was out of service approximately 80% of the time. Then a week later went from Chicago down to Louisiana, over to Texas and up to Colorado. I was without service for roughly 60% of the time. Then from Colorado back up and across to just outside of Chicago. I was without service for roughly 75% of the time.
My boyfriend, who was driving, has Verizon and was without service (the entire trip) for roughly 5% of the time.
While I can make fun of his crappy little HTC Droid Eris, he harasses me endlessly about my connectivity lol.
