Help set city location?

somehow, the city my S3 refers to, whether i asked S VOICE "what's the weather like?" or when i set the option to show weather info on the lock screen, it shows the the next city over. diff zip code altogether.

only thing i can think of, is that i bought it in that city.

i searched here and googled. but i cant find the thing in SETTINGS to set home city or zipcode...

help...

On the home screen tap the city, then tap the + sign to add a city.

did that. but i cant seem to make it the default city.

going back to touch wiz (i use another launcher) it does show the city i want.

if i go into the EDIT screen, i see two thing:

CURRENT CITY :: off/on
FREMONT


fremont is what i want. if i slide the slider on the current city, if uses the GPS or the location setting and finds the city i dont want.

so either my GPS is off or something is wacked.

just had a long chat with a samsung online rep.

she had me clear the WEATHER MAIN, WEATHER data/defaults.

i went back and saw the widget screen saying LOCATING.

sure enough, it found the wrong city. actually it is the city next to where i am. i am close to the border.

i wonder if the WEATHER widget data is a little off...

gonna try the process when i try a diff location in the city...

sigh...
