Hello everyone,
I've had a G2 Touch for 2 weeks now and periodically (0-4 times a day I'd say) my phone asks me to set the current time, because it is not able to find the time from the carrier. I have auto sync time set (otherwise it doesn't know what time it is when I turn it on/off) and when the notification comes up, I use the drop down to "set current time" and it tells me it can't find the time and I should set it manually (which is just setting the time zone, not the time). Is anyone else having this issue with T-Mobile or another carrier, or is it just my sporadic service that is causing the problem? Service drops in and out all day as I go from home to work etc.
Someone please help, this is getting annoying!
ps to Phandroid server admins: Please combine the G2 Touch and Hero sections into one! Sick of checking two places for the same phone. They are different phones just as much as an Orange Hero is different than an unlocked Hero on Vodafone (for ex.) and you don't have separate sections for them! Don't inherit T-Mobile's absurdity. Same goes for myTouch3G/Magic (mostly) as well as every future Android phone carried by T-Mobile.
