Hi,
In my household when I listen to streaming radio I believe it stops when other people in the house (my children) watch YouTube videos. As master of my house is there a way to say that my Samsung galaxy S4 should have higher priority on the wifi network?
Thanks.
David.

If there was a solution, it would done on your router as opposed to the phone itself. I've had a scan on the settings on mine and I can't see anything that allows me to set WiFi priority (but I'm using a BT Homehub and they're pretty locked down).

Other routers may have different options.

It's possible that the channel you're router is using may be congested, so it might be worth downloading something like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer

See if the channel you're using is congested and try using another.

It might help to give your S4 a static IP rather than DHCP. If you have both 2.4 & 5Ghz available try splitting them by giving them different SSIDs. If you use 5Ghz set it to use a channel number well over 100. For either frequency set the router to use channels with a minimum of interference. I use WiFi Overview 360 to find the optimum setup. An excellent tool, it's what the Google Fiber guys use to setup WiFi. The best WiFi analyzer I've found yet.
