Help Setting for Auto ON & OFF?

Just got my G1 today and I am loving it. Im coming off from using a BB Pearl 8100. One of the features I liked on the BB was that I could set the device to automatically turn on and off at specific times?

Does the G1 offer a similar setting and if so how do I do it?

The G1 does not have such a setting.
It is meant to be always on
