Setting Profiles doesn't work 100% of the time :(

I'm REALLY frustrated with this.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have a profile for "in dock" to turn on GPS and bluetooth. Last night it didn't shut off and this am - DEAD battery :(

I've noticed sometimes in the dock it doesn't turn those features on either - but sometimes it does work?!

I paid for this app :(

I haven't had this problem so I would email the developer, he is very responsive. The only issue I have is the location based profiles if you get to the edge of the 1/2 mile or whatever you've set it, and suppose you turn on Wifi, the wifi response is slow so if you go in and out of that 1/2 mile edge wile driving you may sometimes never get the proper response. The developer knows about this and has said he's working on it. I think the same thing happens with bluetooth.

Also, make sure you fully understand the stars, what they do, and how the profiles work for the default, going in and out of time-based ones, etc. I've found that too many profiles that have stars turning wifi, gps, and bluetooth on and off can cause some issues.

Well, I've had a few issues with the app, too, although mostly because of the almost complete lack of documentation.

For the first issue, do you have a Default profile that turns off GPS and Bluetooth when it comes out of the dock? If you don't, the app will simply revert to the last state the phone was in, which very well may not turn off anything. And (here comes my issue with documentation), once you've set up your default profile, you have to long-press on it and select Set as Default, otherwise it does nothing.

Additionally, all the profile settings are to turn functions on, which you do by selecting the check mark to the right of the setting you want. However, not checking that setting will not turn off the function off if it's already on. If you specifically want something turned off in a profile, you have to select the star to the left of the setting while leaving it unchecked.

It's funny, because I just installed the Lite version yesterday, experimented with it last night, and set it to turn off wi-fi this morning for half an hour. I checked during that half hour and wi-fi was still on. So maybe it's not me after all...

AH HA!!

No I don't have a default profile! I will go in and play with it tonight! Thanks!
