I have a Galaxy S2, and it will not allow me to set up the USB Mass Storage. I have tried both options of USB debugging and USB utilities. I have used the exact method for both but it will not go past the screen "Connect USB cable to use mass storage". A friend who is android savvy also tried but it would not work. Any help appreciated.

As far as I know you'll need an USB OTG cable for to use your phone's USB host mode for to connect a USB mass storage.
