setting voicemail

hi, just got my hero, and i'm trying to set up voicemail. Thing is I don't want to record my name and message (my voice sucks on my old phone (blackberry, pls don't tell me, if you don't like it switch to bb again) i had option when someone calls all they hear is my # and it' says to leave the message after the tone. Does hero has option like that? Any other options besides recording my own message. Thx

Voicemail is a carrier feature -- not a phone feature. You should have the same options unless you switched carriers.
