Help Settings keep closing

I have had my Optimus G for a few months now and it has just recently started giving me problems one of which is every time I try to open my settings it closes right away and a message pops up saying unfortunately settings has stopped if any one could help fix this problem that would be great thanks

Some app is causing that. Since it was several months ago it may be hard to troubleshoot. In the end a factory reset may be needed.. I won't allow my apps to update on their own and of course I control what app get installed so I can trouble shoot when this happens and back track. Good luck

Sweet thanks I deleted some of the apps that I had downloaded recently and now I can open my settings thanks so much
