Seven Planets Lined Up

LOOK UP: Seven planets to line up this Friday, February 28, 2025.
A PLANETARY PARADE will take place in just three days, with Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars all lining up in the evening sky. This combination will not happen again this decade.
Four of them (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars) will be visible to the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars or a telescope. Saturn will be the hardest to see due to its proximity to the Sun at this time.
To observe this event, it is recommended to choose a location with minimal light pollution and clear skies. The planets will appear just after sunset.

I'll probably have full clouds. We always seem to be clouded in for such things.

They seemed to be tasked at keeping my sky all chalked up. I haven't seen the deep blue sky that I enjoyed as a child for a long time. The chances of me seeing anything besides Venus is slim. I can always hope.

Same happening here in Blighty land. I had no idea until I read this.
One report says they have been viewable after sunset since Tuesday and ends today. 17.40 is Sunset so 30 minutes later is recommended.
I won't see it though.
I haven't seen a clear starry night sky for yonks. Last memory was driving to a high - brow open air wedding reception and parked in a farmers field just admiring what I don't see in London.
I might have organised a train somewhere as I don't own a car now.
