Help SGS2 sleep button stops working out of nowhere?

Just a couple of minutes ago the sleep button for my galaxy S2 SPH-d710 stopped working. No matter what I do it wont turn on or off. Any ideas?
Any way I can add a shortcut= simultaneous volume up+down button turns phone on and off.

After looking up your model number, I see that you have the Sprint Epic 4g Touch. So I have moved this to that device's forum.

Sounds like you need to go and get it repaired. Your power button is likely dead, and it's a fairly well known issue. Take it in, and get it fixed, or get a replacement or whatever it is your insurance will do for you. If you have no insurance, and you've had it for longer than a year, then I don't know what to tell you.
