Has anyone managed to control text alert vibration with Tasker? With Tasker I can control whether or not my phone vibrates when a call comes in but I can't do the same for the text message alert.
I have tried:
- turning vibrate off in the phone settings and using tasker 'vibrate' and 'vibrate pattern' to activate text alert vibration;
- turning vibrate on in the phone settings (these DOES make the phone vibrate when texts come it) and using tasker 'vibrate' to deactivate text alert vibration;
- turning vibrate on in the phone settings and using tasker 'vibrate pattern' to change the vibrate pattern selected in phone settings;
In all cases Tasker had no impact on the phone settings. I've posted in the Tasker forum but got no solution. Is there another app with a plugin I could use?
