shake questions

I need to shake to work when the screen is turned off and locked.

Also I can't seem to get the shake to work very often. At recalibrated which seems to make things even worse. I've looked on YouTube.

What am I supposed to do to make shake work better. I assume that high sensitivity means that anything will trigger the task.

I'm at with my wits end. is there another way of doing this?

A bit late but go to Preferences > Monitor > Display Off Monitoring > Accelerometer

The default setting is 'When Power Connected', which means Tasker won't monitor for any shaking actions when the screen is off. You can change to 'Yes', but be aware that this setting will mean a greater battery drain.
