I want to share applications with a friend of mine. Is there an application that will let me send him a market link for applications that I have already installed on my phone?

Is this something one can do with AppBrain - the best Android apps and games on the Android market ? It appears as though you can share a list of your apps with others.

yes thats one way to do it. but id really like to just send a link via txt message.
ideally i would log into the market, press menu, downloads, scroll down to the installed app, long press on app, choose option "share this app", choose option email, sms, google talk, facebook, ect.

You can generate a bunch of barcodes (unfortunately one for each app) using the "barcode scanner" app and share them with him over an email. When he scans the barcodes you have generated using the same app he will be able to install the apps. It could get tedious depending on how many apps you want to share. "Barcode Scanner" is a great app and easiest way to share apps IMHO.

FYI - Froyo has this share app facility built in.

as above, in froyo you can share apps on your phone via "app sharing" in the app menu
