Share options in Android 12

If I go to Photos, pick a photo, then choose Share, the first several choices are icons for some of my contacts to allow me to share to Google Photos.

How can I remove those icons so that Apps I can share through are at the top of the list?

Use a different gallery app if you want that.

Google want the default way of sharing to be via a Google Photos link, so that's what they list at the top. I'm sure that it's a total coincidence that this particular method of sharing gives them the most information about who you are connected to and what your common interests are...

Of Course it's a coincidence. To imply anything else would be socially irresponsible.

Thanks for the idea of a different gallery app. Hadn't thought of that.
