Shazam - could not establish a connection.

I have had a htc desire s mobile phone for a few years and been running the Shazam app for the same amount of time. Recently the sd memory card went faulty and I had to get a new one. In the process I lost many of my apps which I have successfully re-installed except for Shazam. I have uninstalled and re-installed it several times but when I try to run it it comes up with the message 'Shazam could not establish a connection.'
My router connection is fine for all other apps.
My wife has got the exact same phone with Shazam on which still works perfectly so my router isn't the problem. My router is the latest BT one with infinity.
Has anybody got any ideas to my problem.

No, but if you can't resolve it, you could always take a look at SoundHound (a very similar app)...
