Short Code SMS?

I switched to Metro from Virgin Mobile about 4 months ago and overall I've been happy. The only thing that does not seem to work are short codes. Paypal's security key function used to work fine for maybe one month afterwards and then I would no longer receive the texts. I tried removing my phone and adding it again but I couldn't re add it again since I can't receive the text. I called metro and they told me Paypal no longer was a Short Code SMS partner. Now, I am not receiving PNC bank alerts. I really do like having those alerts and kinda sucks not having them. Anyone else have any experience with this?

I experienced nothing but short code problems with virgin. Haven't had any with Metro yet. It seems short codes are starting to become less prevalent these days as most have gone to apps, though.

Yes, I had to FB message MetroPCS and get their attention. They take a long time but it was fixed. Took about a week. Very frustrating but they fixed it.
