Short URL for G+

Ok first off mods.... I am mentioning my site... I would think this would fall under the "Just be a contributing member, not a spammer." I am trying to be contributing. If I'm wrong feel free to take it down... but to the best of my knowledge I'm not breaking a rule..... I do have ads on the home page to help off set the cost of the host......I just wanted to say that if I'm Wrong I'm Wrong...

That being said.... the other day I had an Idea to put a domain I own to use.....
The domain is ECC.Me | a simple URL shortener for G+ I have put up a site that allows you to take that loooonnnnnnnnggggg g+ url and shorten it down.....

Take https://plus.google.com/u/2/102658567359638420614/ and shorten it to: http://ecc.me/tattedman or shorter....

Currently there are single characters available ie http://ecc.me/1

The site offers you:
Ad free redirects
Custom keywords
stats
QR codes
Android app....

Like I said I am not looking to make a financial gain... I just want people to have the shortest possible way to share their G+

I know there are other services that have to do with G+.... But ECC.me is easier to remember and shorter.....

Also please give me feedback on the site :D
 
Looks pretty cool. I do think maybe a chrome or firefox extension would be nice, would make your shortener stand out a bit in the crowd. Have to try the app though and see how it does.

Site is a bit over the top color-wise and the Android App links to a QR code image, is that intentional?

Overall though, very nice job -- it's some pretty nice work you've done there

Thank you for the suggestions. I have a bookmarklet up. I am working on making it so you can add ecc.me before any url and it will create the short url.... I will work on a chrome and firefox ext :)

Ya I was thinking it was bright... I will fireup photoshop when I get home and change it some.....

The app page I still have to work on it.... Plus I dont have a google dev account to post it to the market... I am going to work on making it so the url to download it can be sent to your phones....

Again another good service..... Bit. Ly has been around for awhile which equals longer urls.... This is your chance to have the shortest url possible..... I know there are alot of services out there..... I am just trying to offer a free service... I am planning on adding the plugin for the browsers soon... I then rebuild the android app to make it better.... If you want to use bit. Ly or gplus.To go ahead I'm not telling you not to.... I I am just giving this community another option....
