Shortcut for tethering?

Hi
I use my S3 mini tethered to my laptop to get internet when I am away from home.
Each time I want to do this, I have to go to settings->More Settings->Tethering and portable hotspots and then tap on USB tethering to tick the box - what a pallaver!!
Is it possible to create a shortcut on the main screen which will carry out these steps for me?
Searching the net, all I can find is how to start apps by shortcut.
Any help much appreciated!
